Account & Data Deletion

Last updated 18 October 2026

This page explains how to request deletion of your JAFLI learner account and the data associated with it.

App: JAFLI. Published and operated by Excellence AI.

Request deletion in the app

If you can still sign in to the JAFLI mobile app, this is the fastest way:

  1. Open the JAFLI app and sign in.
  2. Go to Profile.
  3. Choose "Request account deletion" and confirm.

Your account stays active and you stay signed in while the request is pending. The institute administrator then carries out the deletion.

If you can no longer use the app

JAFLI accounts are created by your institute, so requests are handled by your institute administrator. Ask your institute administrator to file the deletion request for you, and tell them the name and phone number your account was registered with. The administrator can submit the request on your behalf.

How long it takes

Your request is fulfilled within 30 days of being submitted.

What is erased

When the request is carried out, the following is permanently erased:

  • Your name
  • Your national ID
  • Your phone number
  • Your profile photo
  • Your device tokens, so you receive no further notifications
  • Your sign-in sessions, so you are signed out everywhere

What is kept, and why

Some records are kept after your account is deleted, because institutes may need them and some cannot be changed without invalidating them:

  • Certificates you earned: they are kept unchanged, because altering them would make them impossible to verify.
  • Exam sittings and progress records: they are kept, but once your account is erased they no longer contain anything that identifies you. Institutes may have a duty to retain them.
  • Audit logs: they are kept as the record of actions taken on the system.

Deletion is permanent

Once the deletion is carried out it cannot be undone, and you will not be able to sign in again with the same account.
